Sweet Home and Melody

I went for shopping in Orchard with Helen at 11am. The aim was: bag and shoes for me;  winter clothes and shoes for Helen.  Arrived in Orchard, we bought the $1 Singapore ice potong. After that, looking around in the wisma atria, I bought one bag for $43. I was quite happy with the price and bag design though. Hmm...after that we went to GAP buying Helen's exchange preparation clothes. Well...my shopping with Helen was stopped there coz Helen needed to go to embassy picking up her visa. It's quite happy shopping with her.

After that, I was about to go home using bus 143... Well, being in Singapore for 2.5years, going to Orchard for quite some times, I didn't really know how to get the bus 143 from Orchard to go back to NUS directly. So, I took up MRT. I actually planned the route to be MRT Orchard-MRT dhoby ghaut-change to purple line-Harboutfront-shopping around in Vivo-bus 143/10/30/etc to back to PGP.

At the end, I took MRT from Orchard, but got off 1 stop later at Cityhall. Got there, I directly went for the opposite train to get back to Dhoby ghaut but I mistakenly took the green line train to Bugis. This happened coz when my train stopped at Cityhall, the opposite train stopped at the same time and I just run there and forgot that it's a train for you to get to green line, not going back to you previous stop at red line. Such a stupid experience though.

Well, due to this, I just stopped at Bugis and bought some ducks in the hocker centre for my dad and my little brother. The auntie asked, how much you want,10,15,20,30$? I said, what's the difference? She said, whether it's thin or fat duck.. I just bought for $15 since I;m not sure whether it's nice or not. It might be true if you are asked where is the nicest duck to get, you might answer Crystal Jade Kitchen. But, still...if you get something for family, you bought it in Singapore for them, they are more than happy than just go and eat at Crystal Jade in Jakarta. It's not bout the expensive or cheap things, it's not something hard to eat nice duck in Jakarta, but it's kind of happy feeling that you can't buy with money because it's you daughter and sister buy for you from Singapore, regardless the price. Once I gave it to my dad and my little brother, they are very happy and surprised for this. They didn't expect to get some expensive stuff but they are happy and said "hahaha, you bought a right thing, rather than buy some clothes or other expensive things there for us". I told them the story of what's the difference between 10,15,30$ duck. What I bought is, half piece of the FAT duck..hahahha....rather than one piece of thin duck. They said, seems it's true that i bought a fat duck.whahaha

Meanwhile, in Bugis, I bought a cheap short coat for $15 and top for $20, but they look nice...i was pretty happy with this, I bought some sweets&sour candies and chocolate in the Bugis stole there, spent for about $25..

Ups...it's 4pm already while my flight was 730pm. I was about mad with my stupid MRT-knowledge, I was about to take bus, which I'm not sure where is the bus stop I should take. I ended up take 33 and changed to 143 in Chinatown. Afterall, I understand one thing,..I am totally bad for MRT and Bus knowledge since I was always relying my friends for this thing when we were going out.

I arrived at PGP at 5pm, prepared my duck, put those things I wanted to bring back home into my small luggage, bathed and went off for airport. I left pgp at 530pm, and coz I was alone and only brought small handcarry luggage, I decided to take MRT instead if cab.

I arrived at airport at 640pm. Now I know, only need about 1hour++ from PGP to airport by bus+mrt. I checked in with my light luggage. and they said the gate would close at 705pm, but I was still looking around for shopping. I ended up buying a Dior perfume for my mom, as she said last time she likes Dior perfume and lot ppl said it's cheaper buying in Singapore airport without GST. I spent for $72.5 for the small one, coz I scared I bought the one that my mom doesn't like. 

Afterall, I got in to my flight. Well, it's a budget airline since I feel not worth to buy an expensive airline,especially for an hour trip. I bought in a wrong time and spent for $142, while if I bought 2 days after that it was $99 return. Well.it's still quite cheap though.......

Usually, though I know this is not a good airline, but it's still acceptable with no-long delay. But this time, guess what, they delayed the departure for 5mins which is acceptable, but when they arrived in Jakarta, it was totally disappointing. It landed at 8.30pm Jakarta time(scheduled departure at 8.15pm), but we waited for about 20mins before they let us go off the plane. Quite sad, they asked us to get off by stair+continued by bus to get into the airport. OMG...normally, this flight would still use the bridge directly let the passengers go to the airport without having the bus etc.....

I was pretty lucky sitting quite in front so I could go off earlier and got in to the first bus. You know what, lots of selfish people are just blocking the bus door, whereas there are so many seats at the back (it's one door bus though) and said to the officer there,"what the hell, we pay for this? asked us to get in the bus? well, taxi is still better" Hm..I was thinking,  How "poor heart" you are. Well, how could you expect an SIA service while you get in the budget airline with this price. 

More importantly, how selfish you are. They make the other passengers who also wanted to faster reach home needed to wait fot the second bus while there were so many seats and space here, but they just insisted to block the door by standing there showing that the bus was already full. Have you ever thought, your way to strike and show the your unsatisfactory feeling towards the flight but at the end disadvantage others... 

The miserable thing has not stopped there. After I went for the immigration check point, I waited my luggage for about 1 hour.WTH. I was thinking, is this the effect coz the flight parked so far from the airport? or could it be possible that the pilot is just a trainee, not sure how to part at the right spot?whahaha...

well...1 hour waiting..please....it's crazy. Furthermore, there's no this flight's officer in the airport near the baggage pick-points, but we saw the Garuda Airline officer was asked continuously by us for this flight thing but she could only answered "I'm not sure bout this flight, this flight officer is not here now"

I went out at 930pm at last. I regretted that I didn't just bring my hand-carry sized luggage into the flight though. I could go out from this airport at 830pm if I did.

I was super hungry at that time coz I didn't get my dinner beforehand since I had no time to eat in Singapore airport.  I and my parents went to AFUNG (I missed the ice nona), they closed..I ended up eating Hokahokabento in which they are left with very few things...well...hunger makes me feel everything is nice.hwahhaha...

This is my super long memorable story on 1 December.
