Count down 2010 in Marina, Singapore

NEW YEAR 2010 has come!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Since this is the first time I spent my new year in Singapore, I and Irene went to Clarkequay in Marina. We bought some cheap stuffs in Marina and ended up watching the fireworks which was lasting only for 8minutes started from 12.00!
Although I considered the duration was very short, compared to the fireworks I saw in Puncak, Indonesia which was about 1.5hour non-stop, but with people's shout in counting down to 2010, at least I got the feeling of new year here. One was awesome was when I saw the fireworks shaping a starts, a Saturn, and 2010; where the rest I have seen before ..It's worth to wait in the middle of human traffic there.

@ Marina

@Clarkequay, before walked to Marina

On 29th December, we watched Avatar 3D at Vivo City and took some pictures there. The movie was great, but I felt uncomfortable and headache in the first half with the 3D glasses...

Although I found that Christmas and New Year in Singapore was not very bad, but I still miss to spend this special events with family..

unpredictable 4 preallocated level 3 modules

Time flies very fast...

It's 29th December...2 more days to the new year 2010...
It's time to start bidding modules..

Today I opened my timetable for next sem,
OMG there are 4 preallocated modules which are all level 3..
Even worse, I will be having class every Saturday with Tuesday off (as for now)

But, I will take one other modules, which it will occupy my Tuesday...
wahh..this means, my next sem I only have Sunday-day off....haizzz

Think positively, most of them are 9am class..which means
I have motivation to wake up early, instead of wake up around 12pm everyday---such a pig, a sleeping lover.hahaha

Anyway, what module should I take? It's time to think, consider carefully, and make decision....
Only 1more working week and will start uni-life again...hahaa

Real or Fake?

What is real and what is fake?
Sometimes we never really can differentiate it
what that looks nice, it doesn't really nice
what that looks is given to us with full hearted, it doesn't really mean to
when those treat you nicely, it might be just a show
when you realize it, how do you feel?

Why this world is full of pretense?
People are unpredictable, they are unbelievable!
Real or fake? Take and give?
Is this world supposed to be like that?
Who do you can really trust to?
Who do really do everything for us without complaining and take and give policy?
Only real family (my real parents and my real siblings)

ru guo shi yin wei ta men wo ku,
na biao shi, wo xu gei le wo zhi ji
wo shi bai mian dui zhi ge shi jie
we bu zuen ku
ying wei zhen de bu zhi de
wo you wo zhen jia ren zhi ci wo, bu guan ta men zai na li
wo bu shi yao ne zhong ren

Do what you and people feel it's good to do, not you feel comfortable to do nor they say you should just be your self in front of those fake people...

Xmas Night 2009 in Singapore

This is the first time I celebrated Christmas in Singapore...

sad coz no family around, only little friends around

Anyway, I went to Cathedral of Good Shepherd for a mass with Ari, Icon, Richie.
The songs and the choir there were nice and hence we got Christmas feel!hahaha...though dunno how many times, I almost fell a sleep..hahha
Since we were scared there would be very crowded and no space, we arrived there 1.5hours earlier than the mass and apparently there were still lots of space. But nearly the mass started, it was really crowded there. Also, LOTS of INDONESIAN there...

I WISH YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS 2009! HAVE A BLAST!

Adventus treat and happiness found there

The company where I'm doing intern treated us with many good food..Now I'm still very full..

even there was my favorite prawn but unfortunately I couldn't eat since I am allergic with it; also got sushi that I didn't touch coz I don't like.hahaha
Even the HR manager asked us to bring the leftover home. I brought back a box of beef and chicken..hahaha (student likes free stuff)..hahaa

After that we exchanged gift with budget $15 and I got a cute necklace. (I also gave other a necklace though). I took a photo of myself with the xmas tree and my present and also took another photo with all other interns.
Candies from my intern friend
Chocolate from HR colleague
Chocolate I got from one of my supervisor (colleague)
the gift I got (from whom???)

I feel this company treat their employees very well even the bosses are also nice.
The pantry is also not bad; provides us milo, coffemix, nescafe, cereal, and pocca soft drink..haha
All the people there are also very good. I also got 1 chocolate present from my supervisor (but they prefer to be called colleague), 1 from HR colleague, 1 from my intern friend)

While eating, he asked us whether want to join the company after graduation or not. feeling want to join them after graduation..haha..but still not sure yet..
Seems this company grows quite fast and very well; they will be moving to a much bigger office soon..haha

Not JB, but Bugis

Last Monday, I asked for 1day leave from the office buat ke Johor Baru, Malaysia nemenin Christina beli obat bwat ortunya (sbenernya gw jg pengen2 pegi si since gw blon pernah ksana)

but unfortunately dompet nya Christina beserta kartu2 imigrasi sgala ilang, at the end ga jadi ke JB(poor Christina! lucky dy org nya tenang bgt lho..hehehe)

Since I have taken a leave dengan alasan urusan club, I worked for half day. In the first place, I planned to accompany her to police station to make a police report for her wallet lost and take my free $12 compensation of filling a survey before, but at the end it was cancelled since she could make an online police report (wow..Singapore's procedure of this stuff is vry easy!)

At then end, I ended up going to Bugis for shopping and looking around... But, what did I buy?
1 ice cream potong choco chip
1 tooth brush head cover (PIG figure)
1 watch
1 bowl of noodle at noodle house at Bugis

Anyway I enjoyed it...

Smile,You!, my watching korean drama list

After I've finished watching korean drama "Shining Inheritance", now I'm watching "Smile, you!"

Not bad to fill in our leisure time... I enjoy watching it.

sad and unfair and my choice

Why did I choose come here and study here

Why did I choose to know the hectic life here
Why did I choose to stay here for this vacation term and not stay in Jakarta
Why did I choose to do internship
Why did I choose this company instead of other offers
Why did I know something which if I don't know, everything will be fine
Why do some of them do this, some of them do that

Although the supervisors and the colleges are nice
although they treat me nicely
although the environment is fresh and great
although the friends and interns there are friendly
although I work my job well and the supervisor recognized that I work fast
I'm okay if I need to do non-operational and non-accounting staff
but,..
I'm sad
I'm crying
I'm regreting
I wish I were in Indonesia now
Because....
I feel unfair
I feel I'm supposed to not do the same thing with some people (not I'm supposed to not do something)

Life is about choosing choices.
Once you have made a choice, you only can do what you have chosen

Sometimes, knowing everything or knowing a lot does not mean your life will be happy; it's better we don't know something.
Sometimes, doing well, fast, and looks capable does not mean you will get benefits; better do slowly and enjoy

Christmas Decoration @ Orchad

Just went back home from Orchad with my auntie and uncle (I call them mami and papi) and with my cici koko. Discover a nice Christmas decoration @ Orchad! Some pictures are here...

Inside paragon building. These trees were built by dolls...cute!!!
outside paragon building

big Christmas tree outside paragon building

After going to Orchad, we went to Fair Price and ate @ Holland V, XOX bihun?? (forgot the name but I heard it contains whisky inside), also the fried chicken was also vry nice and other vegetables which I forgot the name..haha

Ivonne&Jeffry Wedding + Dinner at east coast

In this morning, I attended Ivonne& Jeffry Wedding at Blessed Sacrament Church; I know them through Indonesia Catholic Community in NUS. Congrats to Ivonne and Jeffry!!! They looks very happy and well-dressed...of course!hahhaha

As the mass came to the end, we were busy taking photo of ourself..omg..hahaha. Here they are

After that, we had lunch at the dining hall there. Food was quite nice and they prepared quite lot of courses..hehe..But I ate prawn which I am allergic with coz it looks delicious...hope it is fine..

In the evening, coz my auntie and uncle are coming to Singapore, they and my cousin invited me to go out dinner at East Coast... It was really-really crowded. To get the table, we need to wait for people finishing their meal...We ordered oyster omelet, Stingray, Kangkung, Babykailan, carrot cake, dumpling soup, and one more meal which I duno the name. The most irritating thing was when I took 3 plastic spoons in dumpling soup's stall and asked for one more bowl, the owner said "u only can take 2 spoons, else u need to pay as written in this price list"...ow owh, diminishing our appetite and feel to that food. In the contrary, in other stall, they gave extra bowl and chopstick... Their margin are perhaps different I suppose..haha.
Apart from it, yeah the place was comfortable and it was great to walk around there with family and chit-chat for a while.

After we ate, we were walking around; scenery was nice, place was nice, haha...Embarrassing! this is the first time I went to this place after being 1.5 years in Sg..hehe

Stupid air cond! A nightmare on Saturday and Sunday!

After working for 5days, Saturday and Sunday are those most waited. But what happen? today's morning, my air conditioner suddenly is not working. I called for technician, they answered, "please write the maintenance request online and the technician will only come Monday to Friday".wooooowww

First time I am using fan.... I realized it's even better than my broken air con, but I still very warm, especially in the middle of hot morning. It's 8.30am now..haha
What's the point if we pay for double rate for air-con room but it doesn't work Saturday and Sunday...I rather move to room without air-con though!..sigh

What to do?
1. ask friend's help and trespass to her room to stay for today and tomorrow...
Christina help me!!!hehehe...Can I?hahaha
2. stay in my room with the fan
3. stay in cousin house

Fortunately I had plan to go out on this Saturday and Sunday and I won't spend lot of time in this room...

CBLC Cyberia Camp BBQ party

NUSSU CBLC Event: Cyberia Camp 09 (9-11 December'09)

coz I am doing internship, I couldn't attend the whole camp, but yesterday I managed to join the the BBQ party after I went back from the office. so I was there from 7.45pm - 11.00pm
I had fun there, with all CBLCans and all the participants of the camp.

FUNNY but FUN...
out of 5 BBQ pit, I think ours was the worst one, not sure coz we didn't start the fire well enough from start, or not enough skill, or not enough passion, but in fact when other people from other BBQ pit had finished eating and even had well-cooked food left, we still afforded to burn the fire starter..
so what I did was I went around and got the food from them..that's the fastest way.. those people even said "just take, we have a lot food left, no one can eat already"; I was thinking, we should not even start our BBQ pit and just took other food..hahahhaa

No matter what, I indeed enjoyed yesterday BBQ party...
oh ya, appologize to all, I did't help for packing up and cleaning the place coz I'm working and so tired...
thx all! CYBERIA committee, u did a great job!....

First day blogging, first day internship

Hi my new online-home, this is the first time I post for this blog. I'm going to share my first day internship in Singapore.

Only going back to Indonesia for 4 days, I felt a bit sad for it, not enough being together with family as well as not enough eating indo's food, but I went back to Singapore to find an experience... soo...need to be jia you!
As a sleeping lover, it's a challenge to wake up at 6.30am like what I did today, but in fact yeah I woke up with my phone alarm song "promise", one of You're Beautiful's korean drama soundtrack

Hm..first day internship, what was happened?
1. woke up at 6.30am in the holiday term and then came too early to the office.but I think I would wake up at 7.15am start from tomorrow since it only took about 10 mins from my hostel to the office
3. wore formal clothes which at the end I realised semi-formal clothes is totally ok
4. made friends with other interns who all are NUS Student: year 4 Biz-engin student and year 1 Biz-computing student
5. realised that Mandarin is vry important, almost all of them speak mandarin when they speak informally
6. found out new software (SAP) and did tedious work, but enjoy it, coz my supervisor is nice
7. the internet is restricted to access SAP and email only, can't surf net..hahaha.wat a smart company is!
8. went back to hostel and had the dinner, then surf net n watch korean drama-currently watching shining inheritance, n sleep.. this would be my life cycle during this holiday until 8January, before starting the student-life with level 3 accounting modules next semester..

Hope this will inspire me to love working.... but will I?haha
For everyone, enjoy the holiday!!!!
